How Viruses Contaminate Your Laptop
Tuesday, August 31st, 2010Viruses are little bits of software that usually have a destructive affect on our computer systems when they’re activated. Usually viruses are connected onto other software program programs (video games, disk utilities, office paperwork/Macros, screen-savers), and are activated when these normally harmless applications are started.
A virus is inactive until the contaminated program is run or an infected boot report on a floppy/CD is read. When the virus is activated it hundreds into your laptop’s reminiscence where it can perform its nasty job or spread itself to different applications on your system or computers in your network.
