Comparing PC laptop computers of today with those from 10 years ago is almost comical. Thanks to advancement in technology, computers are now much easier to operate and they provide more convenience. Every part of the computer has gone through serious change, which has made it much easier to play games or email friends, do homework and study, or conduct business

Whether you use a computer while on business, at college, or you like to take a computer with you while taking a vacation, the options today are amazing. Most people will choose the standard type of laptop but the notebook is another great option, which again, is much smaller and even lighter in weight. However, the notebook offers better portability than a standard laptop.

When at the store looking at options for PC laptop computers, you will be amazed at how far this one form of technology has come in the past decade. Again, they are generally smaller and lighter, but when you have much faster operation for getting onto the internet and unrivaled power.

Certainly people have different needs but having built-in features such as a web cam, mouse, and keyboard, as well as a CD/DVD drive, longer lasting batteries, and of course, wireless technology, it is easy to get excited about change.

Some people still prefer the desktop computer but you should at least consider PC laptop computers and all they offer. Just imagine being able to connect to the internet anytime, anywhere, and for any reason needed.

As long as your computer has wireless technology, you can be connected to the internet from your hotel room, the airport or even while lounging by the pool or on the beach. To save battery life, you would simply use a nearby electrical outlet and then work online just as you would from home.

One of the greatest and most noticeable changes in PC laptop computers is physical size. For the smaller options, a computer measuring 10×8 inches with a 13-inch screen is common although you could go with a larger laptop, one that measures 11×15 inches and with a full, 17-inch screen.

On the thicker side, computers are 1.5 inches and on the smaller side, just 0.7 inches. Thanks to the thinner design, even the weight of today’s computers has decreased, adding the mobility and convenience.
